Why we exist

Powerful software should not be the hard part

Modern business platforms are extraordinary, and often exhausting. Somewhere between the modules, settings, and consultants, the actual work gets harder instead of easier.

AumBiz started with a simple observation. Teams spend a large share of their time on repeated work that software should already be doing: the documents, the handoffs, and the follow-up.

Not because the software doesn't exist. Because it is either too heavy for the job, too foreign to the way teams actually operate, or both.

So we build applications for that work, and the services around them. AutoBooks is the first application in the suite. It came from watching accounting teams retype the same documents into their ERP, month after month. AI does the reading. People do the approving. The work then posts into Tally, instead of demanding a migration. The same idea guides everything else we take on: start from the workflow, keep a person in control, and fit the tools a team already uses.

Workflow before software

We do not start with technology and look for a use. We start with the way people actually work: the documents, deadlines, and handoffs, and then we build software that fits it.

Depth over breadth

One workflow solved properly beats ten solved halfway. We would rather ship a smaller product that genuinely works than a sprawling suite that impresses in a demo and frustrates in daily use.

People stay in control

Automation should prepare work, not make unsupervised decisions. An accountant reviews and approves before anything becomes a record.

Honest software

No inflated claims, no dark patterns, no lock-in by obscurity. Our software fits the systems a team already uses, and our messaging describes what it actually does.
