Terms of Service

You may browse and share this website for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for weaknesses without permission, scrape it at a rate that affects other visitors, or submit false information through its forms.

The website describes our application and services in general terms. It is not an offer. Any engagement for services is agreed separately in writing.

• AutoBooks is a business tool for firms, companies, and the clients they invite. It is not for personal or consumer use.
• Use a real work email and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Administrators decide who they invite and what role each person has, and are responsible for removing people who should no longer have access.
• Tell us straight away at support@aumbiz.com if you think your account has been misused.

You must not:

• Upload documents you are not allowed to process, or content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
• Try to reach another customer's workspace or data, or get around access limits.
• Scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or overload it.
• Upload malware or anything designed to harm the service or other users.
• Use AutoBooks to break any law, including tax and data-protection law.

You, or the firm or company you work for, own the documents you upload and the books you keep in AutoBooks. You give us permission to host, copy, and process them only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

If you upload documents that contain personal data about other people, such as your clients or suppliers, you are responsible for having the right to do so under the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022. We process that data on your instructions.

AutoBooks reads documents and suggests ledgers automatically. Those results can be wrong. You must review every row before you add it to the trial balance, send it to an accounting system, or rely on it. AutoBooks does not give tax, legal, or accounting advice, and it does not replace the judgement of a qualified accountant.

• Plans and what each includes are shown on our website. Prices are shown inside AutoBooks, before you pay.
• A new workspace may be offered a free trial for a limited period. When it ends, uploads and new document reading pause until a plan is active.
• Payments are made in the AutoBooks web app and processed by our payment provider. We never receive your full card number, card security code, or mobile-money PIN.
• If you pay by card and authorise automatic renewal, we charge that card at each renewal at the plan price shown, until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Billing. Cancelling stops future charges, and your plan runs to the end of the period already paid.
• If a plan ends or a payment lapses, you can still open your data and finish reviewing rows that were already read.

When you connect AutoBooks to Tally Prime or another system, that system is provided by its own vendor under its own terms. You control what is sent. The AutoBooks Tally Connector runs on your computer, and you are responsible for keeping that computer and your Tally installation secure.

Websites, apps, automation, marketing, Google Workspace setup, and consultancy are provided under a written proposal or agreement that sets the scope, timeline, fees, and ownership. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins for that engagement.

AumBiz, AutoBooks, our logos, the website, and the software belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a right to use AutoBooks during your subscription. They do not transfer ownership. Third-party names and logos shown on this website belong to their owners.

We work to keep AutoBooks available and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may improve, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell administrators in advance.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other customers at risk, or that the law requires us to close. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. You can ask to close your account at any time by emailing support@aumbiz.com. Before closing, you can export your trial balance and download your documents.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss caused by relying on rows that were not reviewed. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Tanzania.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Agreements made electronically, including accepting these terms online, are valid under the Electronic Transactions Act. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you directly. Otherwise, the courts of Tanzania have jurisdiction.

Tally and Tally Prime are trademarks of Tally Solutions Private Limited. AumBiz is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tally Solutions. Other names on this website and in AutoBooks belong to their owners.
