English, Kiswahili, and French in one workspace
Staff and portal users pick a language. The ledgers you pulled from Tally stay in the words Tally already uses.

A Dar es Salaam practice does not work in one language. The partner may review in English, a colleague may prefer Kiswahili, and a client across the border may read French. The chart of accounts, meanwhile, is whatever Tally already calls those ledgers.
AutoBooks lets each staff member, and each client-portal user, choose English or Kiswahili in Settings. The choice is theirs. It does not rename the firm, and it does not create a separate web address. A practice that also serves clients in French-speaking markets can keep those conversations in French. The product screens stay in the language that person picked.
What does not get translated is the accounting itself. A ledger pulled from Tally keeps the name Tally stored. A voucher type keeps the name you created. Translating "Sales" into three words and then failing to match the Tally ledger would be a worse experience than leaving the books alone.
The client portal follows the same idea. The person uploading sees the handling firm's name, and the language they picked. They do not see internal staff names. The file they send still lands in that client's documents, ready for review in whichever language the accountant uses.
