Many clients, and none of their books mixed

A practice login can hold every client. Each client still has its own documents, ledgers, and Tally company.

A CA firm does not have one set of books. It has a shelf of them. The person signing in should see the clients they are allowed to open, and nothing else. Mixing two clients' invoices into one review queue is the expensive kind of mistake.

AutoBooks keeps a firm, then a client inside that firm. Documents, review rows, ledgers, and the Tally company they map to all belong to that client. The picker in the top bar is the client you are working on. Documents and Review open there. A team member whose scope is assigned clients does not get the rest of the roster.

A company that uses AutoBooks for its own books is the same system with one client: itself. The screens do not grow a second product. The firm type only changes what the sidebar needs to show.

When Tally has several companies on one computer, Sync Companies lists them. Subscribing maps a Tally company to one AutoBooks client. After that, masters and vouchers for that client stay with that client. Harbour Advisory's day book does not become Lakeside Hotel's.
