What AutoBooks sends to your ERP
Approved rows go to Tally. Tally stays the book of record.

AutoBooks does not replace Tally Prime. It prepares a voucher and sends the one an accountant has already checked. The connector is a Windows app that sits beside Tally on the firm's own computer. It talks to Tally on that machine. AumBiz does not open your Tally from the cloud.
What goes across is one voucher per invoice: the party ledger, each allocation line, and a VAT line only when that tax was already posted to a tax ledger. The voucher type is the one you chose, including a custom sub-type you created. A purchase does not become a sales voucher because a filename looked like one.
The other direction matters just as much. Sync Companies, Sync Masters, and Sync Vouchers pull what is already in Tally: the companies on that instance, the ledgers and groups, and the day book. Insights, on Enterprise, can ask Tally for Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for a period you choose. Those reports are Tally's figures, not a mix with unposted AutoBooks rows.
If a voucher type has to change after it was sent, the connector deletes the old voucher in Tally and creates the new type with the same identity, and only after Tally confirms the delete. That is slower than pretending an alter can change the type. It is also how you avoid two copies of the same bill.
