Merge or delete a ledger safely
Merges move vouchers to the ledger you keep. Deletes only finish when no vouchers still use the ledger.

Merge
- 1Open the near-duplicate suggestion, or pick the two ledgers.
- 2Choose the name to keep.
- 3AutoBooks moves vouchers that use the other ledger onto the one you keep, then deletes the other only when nothing still uses it.
Delete
For a Tally-connected client, AutoBooks checks for vouchers that still use the ledger before it deletes it. If something is left, you see the reason instead of Tally's short Cannot be deleted message.
