Setup
- Before you connect Tally PrimeYou need Tally Prime with its XML server on, the company loaded, and the connector on that computer or network.
- Install and pair the connectorCreate a token in Settings, install the desktop connector, and paste the token once.

Companies and sync
- Add and subscribe a Tally companySubscribe links one Tally company to one AutoBooks client. It does not download the books by itself.
- Sync MastersCopies ledgers, groups, and voucher types from Tally into AutoBooks.
- Sync VouchersCopies the Tally Day Book into AutoBooks for Insights and ledger drill-down.
- When the connector does its workSync now, a short wake after you act in the browser, and an idle timer of about 5 minutes.
Sending
- Send vouchers to TallySelect mapped rows in Review, choose Send to Tally, check the preview, and the connector posts them.
- How duplicates are preventedEach voucher carries a stable AutoBooks identity, so sending it again does not create a second copy.
- Batch history and Retry failedSee every send with its status and errors, and retry only the vouchers that failed.
- Change a voucher that is already in TallyChange the type, delete, or cancel a Tally voucher from the Day Book. AutoBooks checks each step with Tally.
