Install and pair the connector
Create a token in Settings, install the desktop connector, and paste the token once.

- 1In AutoBooks, an administrator opens Settings, Integrations, Tally Prime, and chooses Set up.
- 2Set the balancing account, usually Cash, and save.
- 3Generate a connector token. Copy it now. It is shown only once.
- 4Download the AutoBooks Tally Connector from the same card or from Help and Resources.
- 5Install it on the computer that can reach Tally. Windows may show a SmartScreen warning for the installer.
- 6Open the connector, sign in with the AutoBooks address and the token.
- 7In the connector's Settings, Tally Configuration, set the Tally host and port.
About tokens
- AutoBooks keeps only a fingerprint of the token, not the token itself.
- Each token has a short visible prefix so you can tell them apart.
- A workspace can have up to 10 active tokens.
- Revoke a token at any time from the same Settings card.
