Does AutoBooks replace Tally?
No. Tally Prime stays the books of record. AutoBooks prepares and checks the entries.
Do we have to use Tally?
No. Documents, Review, and the trial balance work without any accounting system connected.
Can our clients upload?
Yes, through the client portal after a firm administrator invites them. They never see the books.
What if the suggested ledger is wrong?
Change it in Review. Save a keyword rule if you want the next similar row to follow.
How accurate is the reading?
It is a first draft. Spreadsheets are read as tables, so their numbers are exact. Photos and PDFs are read by an AI service, and an accountant checks every row.
Is WhatsApp document intake available?
Not yet. Clients can upload through the portal, or send files to the firm as they do today.
Can I use AutoBooks in Kiswahili?
Yes. Staff and portal users can choose English, Kiswahili, or French.
