What AutoBooks does
AutoBooks turns invoices, receipts, statements, and spreadsheets into rows an accountant reviews before anything is posted.

AutoBooks is a pre-accounting workspace. It collects the documents a team already receives, reads them, and turns them into bookkeeping rows. An accountant checks every row before it reaches the trial balance or Tally Prime.
What it handles
- Invoices and receipts, as photos or PDFs.
- Z-Reports and other end-of-day sales reports.
- Bank and mobile-money statements, as PDFs, images, or spreadsheets.
- Bookkeeping and trial-balance spreadsheets in Excel or CSV.
What happens to a document
- 1You, or your client through the portal, upload a file.
- 2AutoBooks reads it in the background and sorts it into Purchases, Sales, Bank, or Petty Cash.
- 3Each document becomes one or more rows in the Review Grid, with a suggested ledger.
- 4An accountant checks the rows, fixes anything that is wrong, and approves or rejects them.
- 5Approved rows can be added to the trial balance, sent to Tally Prime, or both.
What AutoBooks is not
- It does not replace Tally Prime. Tally stays your books of record.
- It does not post anything until an accountant approves it.
- It does not file tax returns or give tax advice. The accountant stays responsible for the books.
